Braids to Side Bun

Start on the side of her head and make 2 small french braids back to her ears.

Then pull all the hair into a side low ponytail on the opposite side of the braids.

Then make a messy bun with the hair in the ponytail. I use bobby pins to place the hair where I want it to be.

Toddler Fun Hair

First make a small ponytail across the front of her head and pull it through itself to make the twist. Then make 2 small ponytails on each side and pull them through themselves.
Pull the side pony's and make one more small ponytail using all the other small ponytails. Then pull it through itself.

Curly Hair

This one is similar to the last post the only difference is instead of crimping the hair we used made large ringlets.

Old Holiday Hair

This is an old picture but since I haven't been doing this hair blog for a long time but I have been doing hair for awhile I found some old hairstyles. My daughter likes to pick her own hairstyles sometimes and this is one of hers.
She has a small french braid across the top of her head and then we used YES an old crimping iron to do the rest of her hair.

Fun Holiday Hair

I first started by making ringlets all over her heads. I purchased a really neat curling iron a while ago that had groves in it that makes perfect ringlets for little girls hair.
Next make a small french braid across the front of her head.
Take half of her hair and pull up into a ponytail. I then used a small elastic to make somewhat of a messy bun. I pulled out some of the ringlets and used bobby pins to keep the ringlets perfect.
Then I took a red ribbon and attached a safety pin to the end. I then went in and out of her ringlets to give the swirl look.

Toddler Rolls

As most of you with toddlers know pictures are not always easy to get so this is the only one we got of this cute hairstyle.
Her hair is in 4 small rolls that go back to the crown of her head. The rest of her hair I rolled brushed under to give her a little bit more volume.

French Braid to Side Pony

Make a small french braid across the front top of her head. Make sure the braid goes all the way down. This is similar to a previous post but instead of a regular ponytail do a far side ponytail.

I had another blogger tell me about wrapping the braid around the ponytail so I have done that to her side ponytail. (thank you to this blogger for the idea)

We love flowers and right now she always wants the same flower so we added this flower for fun.

Shakira Hair

Pick one side of her head and make 2 small french braids along the top of the ear.

We curled her hair to make the big loose curls with a straightening iron. Or you can use a
1 1/2 in curling iron. (I apologize for the pictures my husband needed my good camera and left me with a really old one)

Not a Hair Post but Fun

I was emailed this information and wanted to share it with all of you wonderful mom's

Twelve Days of Christmas

One of our Mom-Stuff Team has posted her Twelve Days of Christmas for you. You can use it as is or any part of it as neighbor gifts. We would like to thank Amber for this contribution. We know you will love this. For more gift ideas we have added some more simple and inexpensive gifts in our Family Fun section titled Friend gifts.

Twelve Days of Christmas by Amber at www.mom-stuff.com

Last year I decided I wanted to bring some joy to a family’s life that I knew was struggling due to the troubled economy. Everybody needs a little bit of cheer all the time but especially at Christmas. I focused on family time to bring some joy to this family each evening. This is my version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

My version of the 12 days of Christmas is very different than the original version. I took a variety of poems and printed them out on Christmas stationary. To use my format buy stationary with printing across the tip as in a header. I then bought or made an item that goes along with each poem I have listed. The items I included at the bottom of each poem. I put each item into a Christmas sack with the tag tied with curly ribbon. Each day I would deliver the poem and the item to my family’s house. My hope was to create a family bonding time for each of the 12 days before Christmas and add some Christmas JOY. I hope you will enjoy this and have a Merry Christmas.

On the 1st day of Christmas my true friend gave to me. This is what the tag read just change the 1st to 2nd or the pattern can be found by clicking here

The 12 poems are listed below by clicking on each one it will take you to the actual poem

A Parent’s Night Before Christmas
Legend of Christmas Stockings
Legend of Mistletoe
Legend of Poinsettia
Legend of the Christmas Rose
The Candy Cane Legend
The Legend of the Christmas Bell
The Legend of the Christmas Balls

Toddler Twist into Small Ponytail

As most of you who have toddlers know it is difficult to get pictures so we did our best but these were the only 2 that worked so I hope you can get the hairstyle from them
I made a parallel part diagonally along the top of her head. I then made a diagonal part and made a twist (or pulled the hair through her small ponytail)

Then make a second ponytail parallel to the first one. I have been roll brushing her hair while it is wet to give her some more body.

Double Twists into Ponytail

Another variation of the double twists. I made a diagonal part and then made 2 identical twists.

Once the twists are done I pulled the remaining hair into a ponytail and the last pull through I left the ends of her hair in the elastic.

A very simple and yet fun hairstyle.

Front French Braid to Pigtails

Make a french braid across the front top of her head.

Make pigtails with the braid pulled into one side.

Then pull the hair upward through the ponytail as shown below.

Then take the hair from the ponytail and pin it up under the hair

You can also do a messy bun which ever is easier for you.

Braid to Ponytail

We started with a square part on the top of her head. Pull the hair towards her ear and make a simple braid.

The picture below is the simple braid.

Before you pull the hair into a ponytail back comb a small amount of hair behind the braid. Then pull all the hair into a lower ponytail.

We added a black ribbon for fun. The hairstyle is as simple as that and you have a really cute style.

Toddler Hair

As most of you know who have toddlers know it is very difficult to come up with new ideas especially when they have thin straight hair. So here we go with another idea.
Since she is only 2 it is sometimes hard to get pictures so these are all taken after the hair has been done so I will do my best to describe what was done.
Around the front of her face I made 3 ponytails.

Once the ponytails are in place I took the middle ponytail and separated into 3 pieces. Take one piece and pull it towards the far side ponytail and take half of that ponytail and secure with an elastic.

Do the same thing on the other side. This gives you a total of five elastics.

If this doesn't make sense please ask questions and I will explain further.
