Poof Triangle

This is a very simple but turned out really cute.
Make a far lateral part.  Along the part make 3 small ponytails, as shown below.
The next row you are going to make 2 small ponytails taking 1/2 of the 2nd ponytail and splitting one to each of the 2 ponytails.  Shown below
Pull the 2nd row ponytails and pull them to a point.  Shown below.  (I also use a small square of hair to keep the ponytails in place)

Toddler Headband

This was simple easy and very cute.  All I did was make a puffy braid around the front of her head
I started on a far lateral part.
Then made my way down the left side of her head taking small amounts of hair until I got to the bottom center of her head.
Then I did the same thing down the right side of her head until I met the other end of the puffy braid and attached them together under the rest of her hair.

Toddler Twist Pigtails.

First I made center part to seperate for her pigtails.  Then I made a small ponytail and flipped it through itself.  Then make a 2nd small ponytail.

Then take the hair from the bottom of her head and make a small ponytail going up then make a 2nd small ponytail like puffy braids.
Then pull all the hair together for the finally pigtail.  Do the same to the other side.

Toddler Ribbon Headband

She is the hardest to get pictures of so sorry about the angles and views. Everytime I pull the camera out my 2 year old runs, hides, or crys.
So to explain a little I made a front row of small ponytails 4 across her hairline.
Then I made similar to a puffy braid behind each of the 4 ponytails shown above.

Then I took a ribbon and pulled it through the center of the ponytails.
Then I secured the ribbon at her neck line.

Toddler Puffy Braids

With all hairstyles the have a combination of a 2 year old the pictures are very difficult.
All we did for this style is start at the top and make puffy braids down both sides of her hair.

Another Heart

Start by making a poof that is angled back into a V shape.
Then make puffy braids start by making the first one up towards the front of her head I secured a ribbon as well with an elastic.  The goal is to make a heart shape puffy braid.
Then curve the puffy braids down towards the bottom center of her head.  Do this to both sides.
My husband so kindly pointed out that it wasn't much of a heart shape.  But it turned out cute either way.

Toddler Valentine Hair

As all of you with Toddler's know it is difficult to get pictures.

To start I made a far lateral part and made a small ponytail. Then I continued on across the front of her head towards her ear. There were 4 small ponytails (or puffybraids)

Once the ponytails are in place. I had made some Rockin Bobbie pins taken from my favorite Website for moms http://www.mom-stuff.com/ . These bobbie pins were so easy and fun to make that I recommend everyone trying them.
To finish up slide the Valentine bobbie pins through her ponytail.

Puffy Braids to Pigtails

Start by making a center part all the way down her head. I put the left side in a holder to keep out of the way while I work on the right side.
Make a small part at the bottom and secure with an elastic (I am making 2 puffy braids up her head)
Make a 2nd puffy braid

Then secure all the hair on the right side into a ponytail.

Do the same thing to the left side.

Then I took another elastic and made sure I didn't pull the ponytail all the way through.

Puffy Braids

Start by making a row of small ponytails that looks like a headband across the front of her head.

Then take the first row of ponytails and split them into 2 pieces. Make 2 more smaller squares and add the far side ponytails and include it into the 2nd row.

Here is what it looks like from the top of her head. If you need further instructions please ask this one is difficult to explain.

Toddler Puffy Headband

This is very simple and she got so many compliments on this wild hairstyle. All I did was made very small parts and pulled them back into as straight of a line as I could and secured the ponytails with elastics. The finished product looks similar to a headband.

Toddler Puffy into Ponytail

As must of you know and I still continue to complain about how thin her hair is so this hairstyle came about one of my friends has a little girl that the sides of her hair above her ears was cut really short. So we did this style to help her.

Start on one side of her head and make a small part above her ear and make similar to the headband. On one side of her head I did 3 puffy braids and on the other side I did 2. I always do a far lateral part that is why they are uneven.
This is the side with 3. I made the 2 sides meet in the middle.

This is what it looks like from the top of her head. Very cute and simple. My toddler doesn't sit still very long as most toddlers don't.

Luau Hairstyle Toddler

The Luau hairstyle comes from a special request. I was honored that she asked me to come up with a style. I hope this is what she had in mind. My daughter has very fine, thin hair.

I decided to make a headband out of puffy braids. I started by her left ear making a straight line across the top of her hair with small square parts. The picture below shows the headband halfway across.

This is how I ended the headband. I then put a flower clipped in to give her the Hawaiian look

Below is how cute the Luau Hairstyle turned out from different views.

Diagonal Puffy Braids Toddler

Her hair is so fine that we continue to try different hair styles. I made 2 diagonal parts parallel to each other. Then start with 1 elastic and make puffy braids back we used 3.
My toddler is not a very good model so this is the only picture I got.

4th of July Toddler Hair

Toddler 4th of July Hair Style

My toddler is a fire cracker so this hair style fits her personality. I used red, white, and blue elastics and separated her hair into 3 different sections. I did puffy braids starting with red elastics.

Once the 3 puffy braids are in place I took 4th of July wire (I bought it at my local craft store)
I cut a small piece and wrapped it around the ends of all three ponytails. I then used my finger to curl the remaining wire.

Here is a better picture of the final result. (My little girl is 2 and sometimes we don't get very good pictures, but we do the best we can so sorry if the pictures are not very clear. If you have questions about the hair styles just ask. I would be happy to explain them further.
